Albanian Mosque – History presentation and morning tea

FreeThe Albanian Mosque in Carlton North is Melbourne’s first mosque.
It was built by the Albanian Community in 1969 but is open to everyone from all backgrounds.
It is now 55 years old and a place of worship and community. You will be able to view an interesting history exhibition where you will be taken on a fantastic recount by AAIS Historian Mr Ali Ymer. Come along and you’ll also be taken on a tour of the Mosque, find out more about the history of the Albanian Muslim community in Australia, as well as the history of the Albanian Mosque.
Lastly you will enjoy a delicious morning tea with some traditional Albanian food and desserts, along with tea and coffee.
