Caulfield’s Racecourse – an exhibition by Glen Eira Historical Society
3rd October, 10:00 am - 27th October, 5:00 pm
FreeCaulfield’s Racecourse has had many forms, ranging from a swampy place of rest for First Nations people to the world-renowned Caulfield Cup horse racing carnival. For locals the Racecourse can be a quiet place of nature, dog-walking, picnics and events. It is also a place of state-wide heritage significance.
This exhibition celebrates Caulfield’s Racecourse with photographs, objects and stories from the Glen Eira Historical Society’s collection and other key collections.
