SUMMARY:Guided Walking Tour of Murchison
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate History Month and also Seniors Month\, Murchison Historical Society with conduct a guided tour through the town\, Saturday 11th October\, sharing the significant local history. \nStarting at the Heritage Centre\, 4 Stevenson Street Murchison at 10am\, the walk is a gentle stroll hearing about the interesting and important history that has taken place as the town developed. \nThe route is flat and suitable for walkers and wheelchairs and there are several spots where participants can sit for a rest if needed. There is plenty of parking next to the Heritage Centre. \nWalk usually takes 40 -50 minutes and finishes at the Heritage Centre where all can enjoy morning tea and a look around the displays in the gallery area.
