Meyer is the current president of the Middle Park and Albert Park History Group and Coordinator of the free City of Port Phillip walks program. As the author of a dozen books set in the City of Port Phillip, his subjects have included children’s stories, local history, wildlife, biography, Indigenous, walking guides and a federation history of St Kilda Cemetery. He and his partner Amanda own Melbournewalk.com, a walking tour business for school students operating from the CBD.
