In conjunction with the Polish Community Council of Australia, the President and Committee of the Polish Museum and Archives in Australia Inc. cordially invite you to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Polish Museum and Archives in Australia.
Join us as we celebrate thirty-five years of preserving, documenting and sharing the rich history and cultural heritage of the Polish community in Australia. Polish Museum and Archives in Australia (PMAA), a trusted source of information on Polish Australian community, established in 1991, provides information, support and links for academics and community in general. PMAA sees itself as more than just a storage of documents, books and images – PMAA has a broader role as being a collective memory of past generations and plays an important role of passing on this legacy to future generations.
This special anniversary will honour the vision of our founders and recognise the dedication of the volunteers, members, donors and supporters whose commitment has enabled the Museum and Archives to safeguard our community’s heritage for future generations. Together, we will celebrate our achievements while looking ahead to the continued growth of the Museum and Archives and its vital role in preserving the story of Polish Australians.
The celebration will include:
- Musical performances
- A special exhibition showcasing highlights from the Museum and Archives collection
- A fundraising silent auction in support of the Polish Museum and Archives in Australia
