Daylesford Museum and the Swiss Italian Festa 2026

Could your family be part of the Swiss Italian story?
For generations, Swiss Italian families have helped shape Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and the surrounding district — and you might be surprised by what you can discover about your own family connection.
As part of the Swiss Italian Festa 2026, the Daylesford Museum research team is inviting people to explore their family history and trace their connections to the Swiss Italian families who made this region home.
Whether you know your family has Swiss Italian roots, have an old surname you’d like to investigate, or simply want to learn more about where your family story began, the volunteer research team may be able to help.
