9th October, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

In elaborate white dresses, with filmy veils, happy brides smile at the world in countless photographs.

But where did the many ‘traditions’ of the wedding day come from, and did the bride always wear white?

Join Margaret Anderson as she looks at the history of weddings and the wedding dress in Victoria, with some surprising results. This talk will be presented online via Zoom.

Booked attendees will be sent a link to watch the presentation live.

They will be able to type questions to the presenter using the inbuilt functionality of Zoom.
